As a working mom with two kids under 4, life can be chaotic at times. They are now both in pre-school and have started after-school activities. My son is in soccer, and my daughter is taking ballet for the first time — which I’m very excited for, as I used to dance ballet professionally. I have come full circle, so I wouldn’t have it any other way.

However, getting out the door to get where we need to go can be a challenge many days. We are never short on a tantrum!

Our family has a 2025 Expedition, which has the Ford Digital Experience¹ powered by the Ford Connectivity Package,² it makes everything so easy amidst the chaos.

The thing I love most about my new Expedition and the Ford Digital Experience is that you don’t need your phone to connect. You get in and you go. Once you do the one-time set-up, your favorite apps and saved destinations for maps transfer over to the vehicle.

Plus, with the Ford Connectivity Package, I have access to the entire digital system: maps, apps, and an unlimited Wi-Fi® hotspot.²  It gives me all of the connectivity I need to make the most of my vehicle.

I am able to use Google Maps to get where we need to go with a simple “Hey Google” voice prompt, embedded apps from the Google Play Store to stay productive with Zoom or listen to music with Spotify, and the kids can connect their tablets to the Wi-Fi hotspot to stay entertained.

The Ford Digital Experience powered by the Ford Connectivity Package helps keep my family organized, moving and spending time together, and helps keep me and my husband productive when we need to be, because life and work happen.

Growing up, my mom was always driving my sister and I all over Miami to school and ballet classes. It paid off because I eventually was a professional ballerina.

Unfortunately, she wasn’t able to work on the go — connectivity was limited in the ’90s. I know she would have loved not to have to run back to the office between pick-ups and drop-offs in the afternoon and be able to spend more time with us.

Today at Ford, while we have a variety of digital systems available in Ford and Lincoln vehicles, we want to make connectivity easy for all customers.

Now, on eligible 2026 model year vehicles with SYNC® 4, SYNC 4A, or the Ford and Lincoln Digital Expereince,activating connectivity will be simple with the Connectivity Package.³

Wi-Fi hotspot is the core of the Connectivity Package, no matter which digital system a customer has. And, using it is easy — you just plug in the Wi-Fi password from the in-vehicle screen into any device (up to 10).

Plus, depending on the system, the Connectivity Package will allow you to use apps such as YouTube and maps on the go right in the centre screen (no phone required).

Previously, there were a-la-carte options depending on your vehicle’s digital system to activate Wi-Fi hotspot, maps, or general connectivity to use apps like YouTube. Now, it will all be in one bundle, which can be activated at vehicle purchase via a one-time purchase or at any time in the Ford or Lincoln app via a monthly or annual plan.

We have learned a lot from launching the Ford Connectivity Package on the 2025 Ford Expedition.

I can say firsthand, it just makes everything simple.
