The 2025 calendar year was more than just a successful period for Ford of Canada — it was a year defined by milestones, record-breaking momentum and a deepening connection with drivers from coast to coast. The heart of this success story remains the legendary Ford F-Series. In 2025, the F-Series celebrated an incredible "Diamond Anniversary" of dominance, marking its 60th consecutive year as the best-selling pickup in Canada. It also maintained its title as the best-selling vehicle overall for the 16th year in a row, with 138,470 units finding their way into Canadian driveways and jobsites — a 3.45% increase over the previous year.

But F-Series wasn't the only truck making waves. The entire pickup family, including the Ford Ranger and the Ford Maverick, joined forces to set a full-year sales record of 162,841 units, which is up 10.57% year over year. The Maverick is a breakout star; its sales skyrocketed by 101.36% to 16,308 units. With the introduction of the Hybrid AWD model, 2025 marked the first time that Maverick Hybrid models outsold their EcoBoost counterparts in Canada, proving that customers appreciate a more efficient way to work and play.

Ford also saw consistent consumer demand for electrified vehicles, driving best-ever sales of 51,773, up 8.46%. This growth was fueled by a surge in hybrid demand, which set an all-time sales record at 34,895 — a 31.52% jump from 2024.

For those seeking adventure and versatility, the Bronco brand continued to roar. Combined sales of the Bronco and Bronco Sport hit a record 31,586 units, up 9.55% year over year. Meanwhile, Ford’s additional SUV lineup also showed remarkable strength: Escape was up 6.32%, Expedition sales grew by 20.14%, and Explorer saw a stunning 38.13% increase year-over-year.

The spirit of performance remained alive and well, too. The Ford Mustang held its ground as the No. 1- selling sports coupe in Canada. It was a particularly proud year as the very first Canadian-assembled Mustang GTD models began reaching enthusiasts across the country.

On the commercial side, Ford Pro solidified its position as the industry leader in Canada. By setting a full-year sales record with a 7.65% increase, Ford Pro proved to be the backbone of Canadian business. Within that lineup, the Super Duty stood tall, celebrating its best sales year ever.

The year’s success extended to the luxury segment as well. Lincoln momentum reached new heights with an overall sales increase of 17.83%. Every single Lincoln SUV saw a year-over-year gain, with the Lincoln Aviator leading the charge by setting its own all-time sales record.
