Puma Gen-E is the First Electric Car to Receive Full UK Grant

At Ford, we’re passionate about creating vehicles that help customers live their lives and explore their dreams.

Following the introduction of consumer grants on qualifying electric cars, we’re delighted that our Puma Gen-E is the first car to receive the full electric vehicle grant of £3,750, making it even easier for UK buyers to get behind the wheel.

Our Ford Puma 1 was the best-selling car in the UK in 2024 and is topping the charts again in 2025. The electric version, the Puma Gen-E, 2 is now available for only £290 per month 3 – less than the petrol equivalent.

Reenergising the fun to drive character and now even more affordable, the Puma Gen-E delivers zero-tailpipe emission performance with up to 233 miles of range on a full charge 2 and can charge from 10-80 per cent in around 23 minutes when connected to a fast charger. 4 The Ford E-Tourneo Courier 5 multi-activity vehicle also qualifies for the full grant if you need even more space and flexibility.

New Puma Gen-E takes Ford’s much-loved, best-selling car in Europe fully electric. This complements the EcoBoost Hybrid options giving Puma fans a range of powertrain choices Ford Puma Gen-E. We’re also supporting customers on their electric journey with the Ford Power Promise, 6 which includes free standard installation of a home charge point 7 and up to 10,000 miles of free charging. 7 Add in five years of free servicing 8 and lower running costs, and customers could save up as much as £127 a month 9 in comparison to the Puma EcoBoost Hybrid. 2

The Power Promise also means customers can benefit from the Intelligent Octopus Go smart energy tariff, which can cost as little 7p per kWh when charging overnight – that means you could fully charge the Puma Gen-E for less than the cost of a lunchtime meal deal.

We’re proud to be at the forefront of the electric vehicle conversation, and with even more competitive pricing and a comprehensive support package it’s never been easier to make the switch.
