That is why we created the new BlueOval Charge Network x Octopus Electroverse service. Whether you are on an adventure in your Explorer, 1 cruising across town in your Puma Gen-E, 2 taking in the scenery from your Mustang Mach-E 3 or Capri, 4 or working hard from your E-Transit, 5 quick and easy access to charge points makes your day much easier.
From today, you can sign up for the new service and enjoy all the benefits, which includes access to over one million charging points across Europe from more than 1,200 providers, IONITY Premium trials and the option to have public charging payments included in your home energy billing. 6
The new app also offers integrated route planning, transparent pricing and a sleek interface that integrates with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto in your car for complete convenience. 7
How Do I Sign Up to BlueOval Charge Network x Octopus Electroverse?
We’ve made signing up as easy as possible. Follow these simple steps and you can be connected in a matter of minutes.
As a welcome gift, customers linking their accounts before Nov. 16, 2025 will receive an additional bonus month of IONITY Premium. 8
How to Sign Up
- Download the Octopus Electroverse app on your smartphone from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
- Once downloaded, open the app and use your preferred email address to create an account, or use your Octopus account email if you already have one.
- Once logged in, add your name and your location from the drop down menu.
- Once on the home screen, tap on ‘Profile’, ‘Account’ and then ‘Linked Accounts’ – here you can link your FordPass account to Octopus Electroverse with your Ford login details. Choose your Ford vehicle or vehicles from the list.
And that’s it – you’re now ready to use BlueOval Charge Network x Octopus Electroverse. From the ‘Profile’ tab you can view and select IONITY trials available to you or those already in place, as well as sign up for IONITY Premium subscriptions.
The new service means that for a period, Plug & Charge will not be available, but we are working hard to reactivate in the coming months.
If you wish you can also order a free Electrocard that you can use to pay for charging at compatible chargers, and add payment methods to activate in-app charging.
