Ford UK to Install Free Home Chargers and Give Free Miles for All New Electric Cars

As car owners across the UK weigh-up whether to buy an electric vehicle, we are launching a unique-to-market ‘Power Promise’ for new electric vehicle buyers in the UK, helping break down barriers to adoption and convincing drivers to make the switch.

Results from a recent Ford survey of 5,000 drivers across Europe found that one in four customers feel more uncertainty when buying an electric car; one out of every eight people find it too difficult to arrange charging at home; one third of respondents believe that electric vehicles take too long to charge; and more than a third are concerned about overall battery life. 1

Switching into an electric vehicle for the first time can be a daunting prospect for some drivers, so Ford has decided to simplify and destress the entire ownership experience by launching a one-of-a-kind promise to new electric car buyers.
