The Future is Now with the New Puma Gen-E

It’s no secret that the Puma Gen-E has been a substantial success since its launch, with customers across Europe chiming with its distinctive design, fun-to-drive character, and electric performance.

Now we’re pleased to announce that the Puma Gen-E is set to get even better in 2026. These are not just minor tweaks: we are bringing significant enhancements that will elevate the ownership experience to new heights. Our commitment at Ford is to continuous improvement, and with the Puma Gen-E, we're taking that philosophy to heart.

One key update is the increased electric driving range. Puma Gen-E already offers impressive efficiency, providing up to 376 km of zero-tailpipe emission driving on a full charge. 1 However, with an optimised battery design in the enhanced 2026 model, we are pushing that even further to over 400 km. 2 This means even longer road trips are effortlessly within reach, and for those daily urban adventures, you can expect a city range of over 550 km, allowing for days of charge-free journeys.

The innovation doesn't stop there. We are also introducing Ford's game-changing BlueCruise 3 hands-free highway driving technology to the Puma Gen-E for the first time. This is a monumental step, making this advanced technology available in our smallest electric vehicle for greater comfort and reduced fatigue on daily commutes and stop-start traffic.

BlueCruise was a pioneer, being the first system of its kind to receive regulatory approval in Europe in 2023, initially on the Mustang Mach-E. 4 Since then, its availability has expanded across 16 European markets, covering more than 135,000 kilometres of designated highways. 5 Globally, Ford and Lincoln owners have already driven over 888 million kilometres using this technology, experiencing firsthand the added comfort and convenience it brings.

Bringing BlueCruise to the Puma Gen-E underscores our dedication to making advanced technologies available to a wide audience, ensuring that more customers can benefit from a more relaxed and enjoyable driving experience, regardless of their budget or vehicle size.

The enhanced Puma Gen-E, equipped with BlueCruise as part of the Driver Assistance Pack, will be available on new model year vehicles from spring 2026.

In essence, we're taking everything our customers love about the Puma Gen-E – its dynamic performance, stylish design, and practicality – and making it even more compelling. I truly believe these enhancements will further solidify the Puma Gen-E’s position as standout performer in the compact electric crossover segment. We can’t wait for you to experience it.
