As we celebrate this incredible milestone, for a vehicle that benefits our lives on a daily basis, I am thrilled to invite you, your family and friends, to our first-ever Transit Festival. Please join us on Saturday, September 20, 11:00 – 19:00, at the Chelmsford City Racecourse, in Essex, for a day dedicated to an icon.

We will be both looking back on Transit’s rich history, celebrating and thanking our amazing customers and fan base built over decades, and looking forward to its innovative future with Ford Pro. There will be live music from Tom Walker, DJs, entertainment and giveaways throughout the day, as well as panel discussions hosted by Mike Brewer and Jodie Kidd.

Hundreds of vans will be on display, creating a real-life timeline of this vehicle's evolution. This includes everything from the oldest-known Transit in the UK right up to the very latest, electric and connected commercial vehicles that Ford Pro offers today. It is a rare opportunity to see the entire legacy in one place.

There will be a strong focus on helping small businesses do their job – with tips on vehicle security, workshops on how to use social media, and advice on how to save money by switching to electric vehicles.

It is also a day for the whole family, with hands-on activities and insightful workshops.
