Our Puma 1 compact crossover is a hit with customers across Europe.
The Puma was our best-selling car in Europe in 2025. Last year we also introduced Its electric sibling, the Puma Gen-E, which began 2026 as the UK’s best-selling electric vehicle for January.
But this success hasn’t stopped us looking for ways to make Puma even better to drive and to own. That’s why we are introducing updated versions of both the petrol and electric models that deliver more technology, style and efficiency.
More tech, more range
Puma Gen-E was introduced with impressive efficiency, providing up to 376 km 2 of zero-tailpipe emission driving on a full charge. However, with an optimised battery design in the enhanced 2026 model, we are pushing that even further up to 417 km. 3 This means even longer road trips are effortlessly within reach, and allow days of charge-free driving for those daily urban adventures.
We are also introducing Ford's game-changing BlueCruise 4 hands-free highway driving technology to the Puma and Puma Gen-E for the first time.

This is big news for drivers of smaller cars. BlueCruise was the first system of its kind to receive regulatory approval in Europe when introduced for our Mustang Mach-E in 2023. Now we’re making the advanced technology available in our smallest vehicle for greater comfort and reduced fatigue on daily commutes and stop-start traffic.
Building on the capability of our Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control (IACC) 5 it can actively control steering, acceleration, braking and lane positioning as well as maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles. It also has the capability monitor road markings, speed signs and traffic, and can operate from highway speeds right down to stop-and-go traffic.
Bringing BlueCruise to the Puma and Puma Gen-E underscores our dedication to making advanced technologies available to a wide audience, ensuring that more customers can benefit from a more relaxed and enjoyable driving experience, regardless of their budget.

To make it even easier for customers who want to experience BlueCruise in their Puma, we’re also adding a special BlueCruise Edition to the range. Available on Puma and Puma Gen-E, the BlueCruise Edition come as standard with the BlueCruise Capable Driver Assistance Pack and BlueCruise functionality unlocked as a One-Time Purchase, so there’s no need for an ongoing plan. Connected Navigation 6, 7 is also included, which uses cloud-based data to help you stay ahead of the jams.
BlueCruise Edition Pumas also get their own distinctive styling, with exclusive Vapor Blue exterior paint, unique black-painted 18-inch alloy wheels with a black roof and door mirror caps for an eye-pleasing contrast. The blue theme continues inside, with embossed seat inserts and detailing in Nordic Blue.

Sight and sound
Our upgraded Puma also introduces an enhanced specification for the B&O Premium Audio system. Standard on Puma ST-Line X, Puma ST Powershift, BlueCruise Editions and Puma Gen-E Premium, power is increased to a 650 W and higher specification midwoofers in the front doors mean better sound reproduction even when the tunes are so good you have to turn the volume up.
Premium Connectivity 6, 7 is also now available on all Puma models, so you can access popular streaming services using the SYNC 4 6 system as well as play games and even blast out your karaoke favourites. Connected Navigation 6, 7 can also be added, with both services available as a One-Time Purchase, monthly or annual plan.

Add in a broader choice of exterior colours — the eye-catching Electric Yellow is now available as a no-cost option on Puma and Cactus Grey as an option on Puma Gen-E — and there’s even greater freedom to make it your own.
Our customers already tell us they love the Puma because of its impressive performance, bold design and remarkable practicality. We think these enhancements will only make it more appealing.
