Ford Performance Parts Unleashes 900+ HP F-150 Raptor R Project Vehicle

Ford Performance Parts is showcasing the next evolution of off-road dominance with its F-150 Raptor R project vehicle. By adding a 3.0-liter Whipple supercharger kit to the truck's 5.2-liter V-8 engine, the project vehicle's output is increased from 720 to over 900 horsepower.

Engineered and tested to Ford's rigorous standards, the potential Ford Performance Parts package offers enthusiasts a dependable path to next-level power without compromising the vehicle's integrity.

The supercharger package is designed to be CARB certified and 50-state legal, and it is backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile Ford Performance Parts warranty when installed by a Ford Dealer or an ASE-certified technician.

"We wanted to create a blueprint for the ultimate factory-backed Raptor, combining immense power with the rugged capability that the name implies. This is for the enthusiast who looks at the F-150 Raptor R and says, 'How can we take it further?’,” said Matt Simpson, Executive Director of Accessories and Personalization.

The F-150 Raptor R project vehicle is more than just a supercharger upgrade. Appearance upgrades include a gloss carbon fiber appearance package and a Borla® extreme cat-back exhaust with black chrome tips. To conquer the darkest trails, it has been outfitted with a full suite of RIGID® lighting, including a hood hinge-mounted kit, an off-road driving light upgrade, and white underbody rock lights. The truck sits on rugged METHOD Black wheels, ready to tackle any challenge.

While this specific project vehicle is for demonstration purposes and not for sale, it serves as a powerful signal of the personalization and performance potential available through Ford Performance Parts and Ford Accessories.
