Ford Maverick and Ford Ranger Raptor have been named to Car and Driver's prestigious 10Best Trucks and SUVs list for 2026.

This significant recognition from Car and Driver celebrates vehicles that best achieve the missions they were designed to accomplish by delivering strong value relative to their competition, and by offering a great driving experience. This is the second year in a row both trucks have made the list.

The Maverick continues to impress with its versatility and value, while the Ranger Raptor demonstrates how it takes off-road capability to the next level among midsize trucks.  

Car and Driver editors specifically highlighted what makes each truck a standout: “It’s not often that anything as fun as the Ford Ranger Raptor is also an excellent value.”

They also elaborated on Maverick’s appeal, stating: “Small in stature and big in utility, the Ford Maverick pickup comes in more flavors than ever, bolstering its case as a 10Best winner.”
