More Than a Machine

If you’re looking for something new, cinematic, and distinctly American to do in Los Angeles this November, Ford’s American Icon: A Mustang Immersive Experience is taking over downtown with energy you can feel from the moment you step inside.
Located at 516 S. Mission Road in the Arts District, the experience takes visitors through the evolution of the Mustang — from its earliest sketches to its starring roles on screen and its latest chapter in modern performance.
This isn’t a car show. It’s an immersive story brought to life through motion, sound, light, and emotion.

Part exhibition, part theater, American Icon: A Mustang Immersive Experience invites guests to walk through more than six decades of Mustang history.
Each room offers a different perspective: from the design studio where the first ideas were drawn, to the cultural moments that made Mustang a symbol of freedom and individuality.
The finale is a 4D thrill ride that places you in the driver’s seat for a high-speed, sensory-filled lap through Mustang history — an experience designed to make you feel the car’s spirit rather than just see it.
