What's New: 2025 Ford Transit

Here is a look at what is new and revised for the Transit for the 2025 model year:

E-Transit

  • The 89.9-kWh high-voltage battery is standard on the E-Transit 148-inch Wheelbase Cargo Van and 178-inch Chassis Cab/Cutaway.
  • The Mobile Charge Cord is optional and includes a fast charger adapter.

Performance & Capability

  • Smart Acceleration Truncation is now a freestanding option for E-Transit.

Exterior Updates

  • 50/50 Hinged rear cargo door availability:
  • 180-degree rear opening is standard on low/medium roof Cargo and all Passenger Vans.
  • 253-degree rear opening is standard on high roof Cargo Vans.
  • 253-degree rear opening is optional on low/medium roof Cargo Vans.

Interior Updates

  • A Large Grab Handle Kit is new and adds D-pillar grab handles to regular and long length Cargo Vans.
  • A Wall Liner Kit is new for regular or long length Cargo Vans and includes interior lighting and wheel well covers.

Packages & Options

  • Three new trade packages are added:
  • Electrician Trade Package (66K)
  • General Contractor Trade Package (66M)
  • HVAC Trade Package (66L)
  • Electrician Trade Package (66K)
  • General Contractor Trade Package (66M)
  • HVAC Trade Package (66L)

  • The 253-degree rear cargo door opening is standard on high roof Cargo Vans.
