When I think about the cabin of Bronco RTR, I think about expression with purpose.
As an automotive color and materials designer, I always want the interior to tell the same story as the exterior. In Bronco RTR, that story is unmistakable.
Bronco RTR has the most expressive interior in the Bronco lineup, built to reflect the energy, confidence, and Fun-Haver spirit that define RTR Vehicles and work so well with Bronco.
We designed it hand-in-hand with the RTR team, led by designer Lindsay Ross, just as we developed the off-road capability and anti-lag turbo technology to make high-performance off-roading as accessible as it is exciting.
“While designing the Bronco RTR, we used Hyper Lime to communicate excitement and performance,” Lindsay said. “From the exterior to the driver’s seat, we wanted that color and vibe to be seen and physically felt. When you reach for the seatbelt or adjust the A/C vent, you are reminded that we engineered this product to have fun and do cool stuff. And it’s always ready to rock.”
For the cabin, we took the functional design and usability customers expect in a Bronco and paired it with the vibrant touches that differentiate the Bronco RTR exterior to make sure that every commute reminds you of weekends off the map.
And we did that by extending RTR's signature Hyper Lime to specific parts of the cabin in ways that feel intentional and alive. You see it in the unique seatbelts, in the stitching, in the grab handles, and in the instrument panel accents.
Those elements are more than pops of color. They create rhythm and identity throughout the interior and give the vehicle a sense of attitude the moment you climb in.
At the same time, I love the subtle details that reward a second look. Embossed RTR logos on the seatbacks add a crafted, premium touch, while topographical graphics across the dash connect the interior to the exterior and, in turn, Bronco’s off-road DNA.
Even the digital experience was designed to feel personal, with a Bronco RTR-specific welcome and startup screen that sets the tone before the drive even begins.
Of course, great design has to work hard. Bronco RTR is well-equipped for the trail and for everyday life, with standard heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and Ford Co-Pilot 360 driver-assistance technology alongside its standard off-road content.
For me, that balance is what makes the cabin so compelling: it is bold without being loud, functional without feeling ordinary, and expressive in a way that feels authentically Bronco.
Bronco RTR fans will be able to get their first look at the annual Bronco Stamped in Moab, Utah, and at the 2026 New York International Auto Show, with both events kicking off on April 1.
