From the Sands to the Circuit: It’s Raptor Week

This weekend, nearly 1,000 guests and more than 450 trucks converge on Lake Havasu, Arizona for Raptor Rally — now in its third year and bigger than ever.

Raptor owners, clubs, creators, and legends including Loren Healy, Brad Lovell, Vaughn Gittin Jr., and Mitch Guthrie Jr. gather for two days of open desert trails, Baja loops, pro driver hot laps, and the first-ever Raptor Baja Sprint competition.

Then it’s time to hit the road.

When the dust settles in Lake Havasu, Daniel Ricciardo and Rob Baird trade the desert for the highway on a road trip that ends in Austin, where Ford Racing takes center stage at the U.S. Grand Prix.

From the Rally to the Circuit of the Americas, we’ll be following all of it. Stories, photos, and dispatches from the trail — updated as it happens.

Pro racer Brad Lovell was on hand to greet Raptor Rally participants, while Chase Gentry triggered some FOMO by sharing footage from his sunset drive the night before the event officially began.

Leading up to the two-day event, multiple Raptor clubs got together to caravan over, while Loren Healy gave a preview of the ride experience that participants could expect to have.
