What It Means to Race for Ford on the World Stage

Ford is synonymous with America. It’s Ford’s home. Being selected as a Ford Racing factory driver to take on the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) in the Proton Competition entered Mustang GT3 is an honor for any American driver.

Growing up in South Florida, there are Ford trucks galore — F-series trucks both on the road and on the job, as well as Raptors in the wild. When a brand resonates so strongly with me, I feel an even greater significance with pursuing my global GT racing career with America’s Race Team.

WEC is a prestigious global championship, spanning five different regions in 2026 — Europe, North America, South America, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East. We’re ready to take on the challenge, and we have a line-up capable of taking the Ford Mustang GT3 to the LMGT3 class podium.

I will be in good company with returning drivers Giammarco Levorato and Stefano Gattuso in the No. 88 Proton Competition Ford Mustang GT3. Teaming up in the No. 77 will be Sebastian Priaulx, Ben Tuck, and Eric Powell.

Between these two strong line-ups, we’ll learn from each other and bring home great results for Ford Racing together.

To be able to bring my experience, knowledge, and skills to an American manufacturer — as an American driver — and to work toward a common goal is the ultimate motivation.

Ford Racing has given all of us the platform to succeed in this world championship. Introducing the evolution of the Mustang GT3 for this season, as well as the Hypercar program, clearly shows Ford’s long-term commitment to its motorsport division. It’s backed by the history of 125 years of Ford Racing, and it’s a privilege to be a part of that milestone.

The evolutionary stage of the Mustang GT3 has clearly made a positive impact on those who have had the opportunity to test this refined platform.

Even during the Bahrain Rookie Test with the current Mustang GT3, I was amazed by its drivability. In the limited time I’ve spent in a GT3-spec car, the Mustang acted and reacted to the high standards we expect as drivers. Between all of us — whether it was the season-ending 8 Hours of Bahrain or the testing that followed — this platform certainly gives everyone the confidence to explore its full performance potential.

My background is primarily in high-downforce cars, so this experience is a new challenge and opportunity to expand my toolbox. I’ve found that small mistakes cost a lot of lap time in GT racing, so it’s imperative that you continuously hit your marks to extract the maximum results. Whereas in a car with higher downforce, you can drive your way out of some of those mistakes.

Le Mans is circled on the calendar every year. Winning is a dream for drivers at the pinnacle of the motorsport world. Everyone at Ford Racing is aiming high. This season is especially important, as it marks the 60th anniversary of the Ford GT40’s finishing one-two-three. If I were able to win that race, with Ford, it would forever stand as the most fulfilling win of my career.

The stage is set, and we’re ready to fight. To be able to bring my experience, knowledge, and skills to an American manufacturer — as an American driver — and to work toward a common goal is the ultimate motivation.

To represent the past, present, and future of Ford Racing and its iconic Mustang ignites the fire for all of us to succeed.
