Carhartt Family Wines is a family-owned vineyard and winery rooted in hard work and a hands-on approach to everything they do. While it operates independently from Carhartt, the family connection runs deep.
So when Carhartt Family Wines heard about the Carhartt partnership with Ford, they instantly knew the truck needed a home at the Vineyard. They were one of the first to purchase the truck, a Ford F-350 Super Duty with the Carhartt Package, a workhorse they could depend on to help with the daily demands of harvesting fruit and running a farm.
Go behind the scenes with Mike, Brooke, and Chase Carhartt of Carhartt Family Wines in Los Olivos to see how the family puts the truck to work through harvest, from the vineyard to the winery.
“Because of the history of my family, there is some level of workmanship, and to me something that I feel like I want to live up to. I want to make that story proud.” said Chase Carhartt.
Harvest brings windows of opportunity, and the work happens in the dirt. Chase grew up on the family ranch, as his dad did, surrounded by dirt roads.

The Super Duty runs those roads every day with Mike behind the wheel. Some days, the truck seat doubles as his office.
“Trucks are obviously one of the most important tools that we use in the vineyard and here down at the winery,” said Brooke Carhartt. “Not only does Mike use the Super Duty Carhartt every single day running up and down these roads, but also he hauls fruit.”

A New Truck Forged from Historic Heritage
Designed together by Ford and Carhartt, the 2027 Ford Super Duty Carhartt Package, available for XLT Crew Cab single rear wheel 4x4 pickups, is built for function and blends Carhartt-inspired design with the Super Duty capability that customers already rely on every day.
“The cloth seats are amazing. I love that material, and not to mention how comfortable it is. And the torque behind it is something. It’s such quality. It’s so solid.” said Mike Carhartt.
The truck’s 20-inch machined and painted wheels were inspired in part by the industrial textures outside Carhartt’s Detroit flagship store, including the manhole covers – a small detail that ties the truck back to the city both companies call home. A dark-painted grille, all-terrain tires, off-road running boards, and a Tough Bed spray-in bedliner with the Carhartt logo further prep it for life on dirt roads.
Inside, cloth seats take their cue from Carhartt’s Duck Canvas, finished with the brand’s signature triple stitching. Premium all-weather floor mats, inspired by Carhartt’s latest tool bags, are ready for muddy boots and long days.
