Here are all the updates for the Ford Mustang for the 2026 model year.

Exterior Updates

  • New exterior colors added: Adriatic Blue Metallic (extra cost) and Orange Fury Metallic Tri-coat (extra cost).
  • A spoiler delete is now included with the convertible model.
  • The standard 18" x 8" wheels have changed from machined-face aluminum with high-gloss Ebony Black-painted pockets to Shadow Silver-painted.
  • Heated, Pony puddle lamp sideview mirrors are replaced with dual-power adjustable sideview mirrors as standard on 200A (EcoBoost Premium Standard) and 400A (GT Premium Standard).

Interior Updates

  • New optional seatbelt colors include Black with Race Red Stripe, Prime Blue, and International Orange.
  • Aluminum foot pedals are replaced with black foot pedals on 200A (EcoBoost Premium Standard) and 400A (GT Premium Standard).

Technology & Connectivity

  • The Ford Connectivity Package (one year included) is now standard on all series, providing features like a Wi-Fi hotspot, audio streaming, and voice assistant.
  • Ford app remote start is now standard on EcoBoost® Premium. Note that remote start features are not available on vehicles with a manual transmission.
  • A Magnesium Framed Curved Display is now optional on 200A/400A and is included with 201A/401A.

Safety and Security

  • A perimeter alarm is now included with all convertible and fastback models in 201A (EcoBoost® Premium High) and 401A (GT Premium High).
  • The Security Package has been renamed the Anti-Theft Package. It is standard on Mustang Dark Horse® 700A and optional on all convertible and fastback 201A/401A models. The package includes Intrusion and Inclination Sensors, a Locking Center Console, and Wheel Locking Kit.

Performance and Capability

  • On the Mustang Dark Horse®, the 10-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift® capability is now standard, and the TREMEC® 6-speed manual transmission is optional.

Packages & Options

  • The new optional Mustang FX Package for the GT Premium includes unique white taillamps, a wedge spoiler (fastback only), a raised rear wing spoiler (with GT Performance Package), unique leather-trimmed plaid performance seats, and available leather-trimmed Recaro® seats.
  • The Bronze Appearance Package is now available on EcoBoost (100A and 101A), EcoBoost Premium (200A), and GT (300A and 301A).
  • A one-time, seven-year purchase of the Ford Connectivity Package is optional on all series.
  • A Wedge Spoiler is optional on EcoBoost®, EcoBoost Premium, GT, and GT Premium.
  • The Tire Inflator and Sealant Kit is now an optional item on the GT with the Brembo brake system.

Standard Equipment Changes

  • A perimeter alarm is included on 201A (EcoBoost® Premium High) and 401A (GT Premium High) models.
  • The Anti-Theft Package is standard on the Mustang Dark Horse® (700A).
  • The 10-speed SelectShift® Automatic Transmission is standard on the Dark Horse.
  • The Ford Connectivity Package (one year included) is standard on all series.
  • Ford app remote start is standard on EcoBoost® Premium.
  • A manual flip framed rearview mirror is standard on EcoBoost Premium and GT.
  • The 12.4" cluster display and 13.2" center display are standard on 200A/400A models.
  • The standard 18" x 8" wheels are now Shadow Silver-painted.
