For 62 years, Mustang hasn’t just been a car – it’s been a feeling. A first glimpse. A first drive. A dream realized. A core memory made. A moment that stayed with you long after the engine has cooled.

Maybe it was one you couldn’t stop staring at as a kid, or the day you finally got behind the wheel of your own.

Maybe it’s a memory of family across generations, gathered around the hood, tinkering on a hot summer’s day.

Maybe it was the sound of a V8 echoing down your street.

Or the first look at that iconic signature grille.

Maybe Mustang runs in your blood — shaped by years of stories, experiences, and a deep-rooted connection to its legacy.

Or maybe it’s the community, the connection, the shared pulse of something bigger.

Today, on April 17, the Ford Mustang officially turns 62. This summer, as we celebrate more than six decades of performance, design, and passion, we’re collecting the stories that made Mustang legendary — yours.

Big or small, public or personal – if it matters to you, it matters to us.

Submit your Mustang story (and photos or videos if you have them) to ecommun2@ford.com for a chance to be featured on the   Ford From the Road Canada  site. You and your story could be part of a special collection of 62 tales celebrating how Mustang has earned its place in the hearts—and driveways—of Canadians since launching in 1964.
