We changed the game when we introduced BlueCruise 1 to Mustang Mach-E 2 in 2023. Our hands-free highway driving technology was the first system of its kind to receive regulatory approval in Europe.
It’s an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) 3 that allows for “hands-off, eyes-on” driving on approved highway sections known as Blue Zones, which cover more than 135,000 kilometres (84,000 miles) of highways across 16 markets in Europe. 4
Then we took it to another level by rolling it out to even more models — Puma, 5 Puma Gen-E, 6 Kuga 7 and our Ranger PHEV pickup 8 — so that even more customers can enjoy the benefits of hands-free highway driving.
Now we’re introducing two new additions to the Ford Collection — a limited series of special models that combine unique visual elements with an enhanced specification — that deliver subscription-free BlueCruise capability and sleek design.
The Kuga and Puma BlueCruise Editions come as standard with the BlueCruise Capable Driver Assistance Pack and BlueCruise functionality unlocked as a One-Time Purchase, so there’s no need for a subscription and customers can use the system straight away.
The BlueCruise Editions don’t just stand out because of their capability. An exclusive Vapor Blue paint colour is complemented by a black roof and mirror caps for both SUVs. The BlueCruise Editions also get unique black-painted alloy wheels, which are 18-inch for Puma and 19-inch for Kuga to really turn heads. The blue theme continues inside, with embossed seat inserts and detailing in crisp Nordic Blue, and Connected Navigation 9 is also included subscription-free, which uses cloud-based data to help you stay ahead of the jams.
Kuga BlueCruise Edition is available as a plug-in hybrid (PHEV), full hybrid (HEV) or EcoBoost petrol engine with automatic transmission. On Puma, the BlueCruise Edition is available as an EcoBoost petrol with automatic transmission and the all-electric Puma Gen-E.

The declared WLTP fuel/energy consumptions, CO2-emissions and electric range are determined according to the technical requirements and specifications of the European Regulations (EC) 715/2007 and (EU) 2017/1151 as last amended. The applied standard test procedures enable comparison between different vehicle types and different manufacturers.
8 Ford Ranger Plug-In Hybrid homologated CO2 emissions 143-145 g/km WLTP Euro 6e-bis, homologated fuel efficiency 6.2-6.4 l/100 km WLTP Euro 6e-bis and pure electric driving range up to 43 km WLTP. A range of up to 43 km can be achieved with a fully charged battery - depending on the existing series and battery configuration.
