Nearly a year after unveiling the new World Headquarters, Ford opened its first public-facing retail store, as well as three brand immersion spaces for Lincoln, Ford Racing and the Ford Heritage Vault.
The spaces opened Monday with a celebration and special activities for employees.
Located near the Oakwood Lobby and across Oakwood Boulevard from the Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, they were open to employees and the public.
The first 500 customers inside the store received a Ken Block 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn V1 LEGO set with their purchase. Lincoln merchandise was also available.
Ford Racing drivers were on hand for opening day, and employees received Ford Racing swag and even attempted the Pit Stop Challenge.

The multi-functional, Ford Racing-branded space celebrates the company’s extensive racing legacy. It includes racing vehicles, simulators, memorabilia and a massive trophy wall.
The store’s merchandise includes everything from T-shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, and hats to mugs, cups, and keychains bearing the Ford oval and iconic nameplates like Bronco and Mustang.
The product collections featured in the store include items related to Ford collaborations as well as licensed items and gifts. New merchandise will be added regularly.

The Lincoln Lounge features design artifacts and relics from Ford’s Archives, as well as the Lincoln Rejuvenate pod, an immersive, multi-sensory installation.
A new exhibit from the Ford Heritage Vault touches on the company’s history with electrified vehicles and includes a first look at the new UEV platform, which will be used to produce the new Ford Fathom universal electric vehicle.
The Ford store is open to employees and the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The immersive spaces were open to the public Monday but are only open to employees following the grand opening.
