Here’s How (and Why) We Celebrated 60 Years of Transit

The past year at Ford Pro will be a remarkable one to remember for many reasons.
As we continue our mission to help our customers’ businesses thrive, there are standout highlights:
Achieving an incredible 11th consecutive year as Europe’s leading commercial vehicle brand with both record sales and record market share of over 17 per cent.
Delivering Transit and Transit Custom vans that are so productive for our customers that they’ve become the two best-selling vans in Europe 1 – backed by software and services that helped save almost 1 million days of downtime in 2025.
And introducing even greater capability for our segment-leading Ranger pickup with our no-compromise Ranger PHEV 2 – immediately winning the International Pick-up Award.
Behind those memorable milestones, the unwavering dedication and know-how of the Ford Pro team across Europe has continued to help our customers boost their productivity and drive Ford Pro success.

Options for every customer
Our comprehensive line-up of commercial vehicles is stronger than ever.
Last year we completed the electrification of our entire Transit family with the production start of our all-new E-Transit Courier 3 at Ford Otosan’s manufacturing facility in Craiova, Romania – a joint venture that underpins our commercial vehicle strength and is regarded as one of the most successful partnerships in the industry.
That means we now proudly offer an electric or plug-in hybrid variant of every commercial vehicle in our European line-up, supporting hard-working businesses keen to reap the benefits of both zero-tailpipe emission driving and electric-enabled technologies like Pro Power Onboard. 4

These electrified products are a pan-European success story. Last year we were the top-selling brand in the overall electrified commercial vehicle segment, 1 with particularly strong sales of our plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models including Transit Custom and Ranger.
In fact, if our new Ranger PHEV was a pickup nameplate in its own right, it would already be the fifth best-selling vehicle in its segment. 1 Its popularity contributed towards Ranger becoming Europe’s best-selling pickup for an 11th consecutive year with market share of more than 47 per cent. 1
We’re also the leading brand in 10 European markets: Belgium, Britain, the Czech Republic, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania and Spain. 1
Software and services for success
But Ford Pro is about much more than just vehicles. Our innovative ecosystem of software and services works hand-in-hand with our vehicles to help customers supercharge productivity.
Globally, Ford Pro Intelligence paid software subscriptions grew by approximately 30 per cent year-over-year in the fourth quarter of 2025, with a total of about 840,000 active subscriptions around the world today.

In Europe, our FORDLiive uptime system uses data from our connected vehicles to revolutionise servicing and maintenance – saving more than 994,000 days of downtime for customers in Europe in 2025.
Realtime data also helps fleet managers maximise uptime using our Mobile Service operation, which we expanded across Europe last year. It grew from 380 vehicles in nine markets to about 500 vans in 13 markets – each able to complete more than 70 per cent of service actions on location. Last year an impressive one-in-four Ford commercial vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair actions was performed remotely in the UK.
Looking forward, we are also developing new ways to help boost uptime for our customers and have been trialling new proactive uptime management services about which we’ll share exciting news later this year.
Beyond that, our future generations of Ford Pro connected services will unleash even more potential from our vehicles – delivering enhanced telematics, charging, servicing and finance solutions to help businesses truly thrive.
At Ford Pro, we’re constantly driving forward to shape the future – plotting our path to growth so that we can help even more customers do the same.
Last year was one of our best. Just like for our customers, our challenge is to surpass that in 2026.
