Late last year, we made the iconic Le Mans racing circuit buzz with a special energy.
That energy came not just from our vehicles, but also from our customers’ passion for Ford.
Our event — Go Electric Go On Track Go Ford — wasn't just about driving. It was about sharing a unique electric experience with enthusiasts.

Our objective was simple: To give our customers the opportunity to truly understand their vehicles and full electric Ford range.
And it gave us an opportunity to listen to those customers while sharing insights and the kind of intense, stimulating moments that can inspire further innovation.
On track for an electric experience
Le Mans was the perfect setting to engage mind and emotion.
Its blend of famous racing line and rich history — including iconic victories for Ford — creates a uniquely palpable atmosphere.
We invited 70 customers to bring their own Ford electric vehicle for some fun and learning on the circuit – as well as a guest to share the experience and memories.
We also made vehicles from across our electric line-up available to drive. Those included Puma Gen-E, 1 Explorer, 2 Capri, 3 and Mustang Mach-E 4 passenger vehicles.
Alongside them were some of our electric commercial vehicles, including E-Transit Courier, 5 E-Transit Custom, 6 E-Transit, 7 and E-Tourneo Custom MSRT. 8

I lost count of the number of drivers I saw return with a look on their face that said “I get it now”.
The track driving experience delivered thrills and helped the participants build confidence in what the vehicles were truly capable of— especially the passenger rides alongside professional race drivers including Olivier Pla.
These “hot laps” clearly proved a real eye-opener for many participants. Afterwards the conversations shifted. People talked less about what they had read and more about what they felt.
It was where electric truly came alive for many.
“One participant had a particularly touching story: Their father had competed in the famous Le Mans 24 Hours in 1929, which made driving on the circuit a truly emotional experience.”Louis-Carl Vignon, President of Ford France

Building connections and community
Go Electric Go On Track Go Ford was a day for making human connections.
Participants bonded over the vehicles, their driving experiences and activities like reaction speed challenges. It was great to see a community forming, relationships developing and participants challenging themselves while encouraging others.
We discussed everyday topics that matter for electric vehicle owners, like charging, getting the most from connectivity features, fitting electric seamlessly into family life, and using electric to boost productivity for professional operators.
One participant had a particularly touching story: Their father had competed in the famous Le Mans 24 Hours in 1929, which made driving on the circuit a truly emotional experience.
These real-world conversations, rooted in real-world experiences, are invaluable for us as a company. They help us understand our customers’ needs and wants, answer their questions and offer practical support.

As a team, we left the event feeling energised and motivated.
It was powerful reminder of the value of real engagement with authentic enthusiasts.
