As a Ford employee and a lifelong baseball fan, I take tremendous pride in Ford becoming the Official Automotive Partner of Major League Baseball. I played Little League with the Huber Heights Eagles growing up, and it's where I first learned that capability isn't given, it's built — practice by practice, day by day. That's exactly the spirit behind this partnership.
I'm thrilled that Ford is announcing a new partnership between Ford Super Duty and New York Yankees Captain Aaron Judge. Like the Ford Super Duty, Judge is an American icon who puts hard work, capability, and passion first.
The timing couldn't be more fitting. With the season entering its final stretch toward the playoffs and a World Series run, Judge knows what it means to show up. There's nothing quite like watching someone put in the work to get back on the field when it matters most — that's the same grit and determination that drives everyone behind the wheel of a Super Duty every single day.
So today, with the postseason just a few weeks away, we're hitting the streets of New York City with a simple message for anyone with a job to do: Let's Get to Work.
This week, two Ford Super Duty trucks will literally do the work, towing a pair of massive Aaron Judge billboards through New York — traveling from Manhattan to Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, and past all the NYC landmarks in between. A "Let's Get to Work" billboard will also run in Times Square.
This partnership between Judge and Super Duty brings together one of the greatest baseball players of this generation — back and ready to lead his team down the stretch — and a truck trusted by the people who build America every day. It's the same lesson I first learned with the Huber Heights Eagles: Capability is built, not given. That's what this partnership is all about.
