For over a century, Ford and our dealer network have been driven by the same values that built America: service, resilience, and looking out for our neighbors. Last June, we put these values into action in a new way with the launch of Ford Building Together — a companywide initiative focused on making our communities stronger. This effort was born out of a desire to deepen our impact by mobilizing Ford’s most powerful resources: our employees, our dealers, our products and services, and our long-standing commitment to philanthropy.
Now, as we approach the first anniversary of Ford Building Together, we have an opportunity to mark a historic milestone: America’s 250th Birthday. To celebrate, 250 Ford Dealers are leading the way, teaming up with our Ford Building Together nonprofit partners in cities and towns across the country, to show up, give back, and make a real difference in people’s lives.
Teaming Up With Trusted Nonprofits
Starting today and continuing through the summer, Ford Dealers across the country are joining forces with some of the most trusted nonprofits in the world — organizations like the American Red Cross, Feeding America, Habitat for Humanity, Team Rubicon, and World Central Kitchen — to bring support directly to local communities. Our dealers are opening their doors and transforming their locations into community hubs for food collections, disaster preparedness, blood drives, and more. Here are just a few examples of how they are making an impact this summer:

- Wednesday, June 3 — Kansas City, KS: Gary Crossley Ford is hosting a Feeding America food drive, challenging staff and inviting the community to donate.
- Saturday, June 13 — Long Beach, CA: Ford employees, dealers, and Team Rubicon will come together at the Ford Electric Vehicle Development Center in Long Beach during their inaugural Cars and Coffee event to celebrate community and learn more about disaster preparedness.
- Monday, June 15 — Lake Orion, MI: Skalnek Ford of Lake Orion, one of the first Ford Signature 2.0 dealerships in the region featuring Ford’s new dealership design experience, is hosting an American Red Cross blood drive.
- Monday, June 15 – Taylor, MI: Taylor Ford is hosting a community food collection challenge with Fish and Loaves, a local Feeding America partner.
- Thursday, June 25 — Colorado Springs, CO: Phil Long Ford of Chapel Hills is hosting a Team Rubicon wildfire preparedness workshop, inviting local first responders and military.
- Monday, July 13 — Philadelphia, PA: During MLB All-Star Week, Pacifico Ford will host an American Red Cross blood drive, as well as team up with Sharing Excess, a Philadelphia-based food rescue nonprofit, to help expand access to fresh food, reduce food waste, and support local families.
- Tuesday, July 21 — Miami, FL: Ford of Kendall and Hialeah Ford are hosting a volunteer event in support of World Central Kitchen.

Building on a Legacy of Service
I have always believed that Ford Dealerships are the cornerstones of their communities. They are more than just businesses; they’re owned by families who live, shop, and attend schools alongside their customers. They’re often the first to step up when help is needed — in good times and bad.
Through this nationwide activation, we’re building on that legacy of service and expanding the reach of Ford Building Together. With hundreds of dealers participating from coast to coast, we are incredibly proud to support the nonprofits doing critical work on the ground. It’s a powerful way to drive local impact on a national scale — celebrating our country and its people while ensuring our communities continue to thrive for the next 250 years.

Deepening our Global Commitment
The celebration of America’s 250th Birthday through service is just one example of the broader commitment that Ford Dealers make year-round to their communities, all around the globe.
Since launching Ford Building Together last year, we’ve seen that commitment come to life in powerful ways — from coordinating the loan of hundreds of vehicles to nonprofit partners to aid disaster recovery efforts in Central Texas, Washington State, Spain, and the Philippines, to inspiring more than 15,000 members of the Ford Volunteer Corps to roll up their sleeves and support their neighbors. Additionally, more than 1,600 Ford Dealers across 30 countries hosted the world’s largest auto dealer food drive, donating 2 million pounds of food to local families

This summer, our dealers are not slowing down. They are deepening their commitment to the communities they serve every single day.
I invite you to join your local Ford Dealer to be part of this celebration, whether it’s by donating blood, dropping off food, learning a new skill to help your neighbors, making a donation, or simply stopping by to show your support. Everyone is welcome.
